Children need love and care. It is sad that sometimes the very people who should love and care for them turn out to be the ones victimizing them. Many children are left unprotected, malnourished, sick, uneducated, naked and in dire need of care and love.

Life Builders Africa Mission is setting up a home for children in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. This will be a place where trained staff and volunteers will care for and protect vulnerable and orphaned children. These children will have shelter, food and education.

We need to pay a year’s rent of N750,000 ($4,400) for an apartment for the children. We also need old or new items like curtains, baby cots/matrasses, playpens, big beds (for older kids), table gas/cylinder, Electric kettle, refrigerator/freezer, water dispenser, baby bedcovers/blankets, rug, washing machine, mosquito nets, toiletries/Cleaning products, baby foods (milk, cereals), food for older children (rice, milk, beverage, sugar, egg, bread etc), used toys, towels, baby plates/spoons/cups.
